We have closed on the house here in Houston! Hip, hip, hooray!

We closed on this house, Friday, 9/16,2011.

I must admit, I wish we were home-owners of only one house at this time, but we find ourselves humbled and hoping in faith that our house in Vidalia, Georgia will sell before the year is out. Our realtor there told us the average time on the market is 13-16 mos. Yikes.

Onto the happiness... 13 Blessings
1. We have a new home.
2. We will be making many small trips to and from the apartment to the house and back over the next two weeks to deliver boxes o'stuff.
3. Our move date is OCTOBER 1ST.
4. God may have provided a renter to take over our lease here at "The Club At Stablechase" a month early. PTL!!!

5. SaraKay's eyesight warranted her getting glasses, and they just came in. They are darling on her and she is very excited to have them.

6. We have started attending a small, Bible-study group, on Sunday mornings at Cypress Bible Church. The group has a lot of different types of couples and a few singles. Our leader is also Daniel's 4th grade Sunday school teacher and he is a gem. His name is Terry.
7. We have been attending worship at CBC for 5 weeks now, and are praying about whether or not God desires this to be our new church "home."
8. Both kids are involved in AWANA at Northwest Bible Church in Spring, TX, just about 20 min. away from our apartment. It'll be about 10 min. away from the house. Skay is in her last year of SPARKS and Daniel is in his 2nd year of TNT - Truth-N-Training.
9. I am homeschooling BOTH children, somewhat successfully. We have our rough "days" but fortunately they are few. Daniel is using K12's TxVirtual Acamdemy curriculum for 4th grade; SaraKay is being taught using ALPHA AND OMEGA'S Language Arts courses and HorizonMath2. I supplement History, Science, and Greg is teaching PE in the evenings to them both.

10. Daniel & SaraKay are attending Spanish-1 and ART classes from 12:30pm - 2:30 pm on Wednesday afternoons at WWHP Prep school.

11. WE are all going to our first AGGIE football game in 9 years today (Sat, 9/16) and daddy is especially excited. We are taking our nephew, Ryan Turcotte, out to dinner and to the game for his birthday, which was this past Sunday, 9/11.

12. We will be living at 13504 Schroeder Rd #4104 Houston, TX for two more weeks.
