My first blog: "Mrs. T" - Vidalia, Georgia

Hello everybody!
I'm setting up a new blogging website because my "familylobby turcotte bunch" site was just plain stuffed with photos.

In order to keep everybody up to date and in good communication, I thought it'd be best to set up a new family blog, that I will also use to inform and update my piano students of upcoming dates, performances and information.

is our family's "shutterfly PHOTO share site.  Feel free to visit it anytime.

Here is our home.

I teach piano on Monday afternoons out of our home.  I also teach piano on Tuesday afternoons up at our church, First Baptist Vidalia from 3:45-5:30pm.  I have been teaching piano for 16 years and have had the pleasure of getting to know so many precious young men and women through the avenue of musical expression.  I was classically trained by my very own mom, Ruth Rehm, growing up and was allowed to "student teach" under her while in High School.  At BUTLER University, I intended to Minor in Music, but after having so much required of me to double major in Elementary and Special Education, decided to drop the music minor and pursue practical private piano teaching experience.  There has never been a season where I haven't found incredible blessing through studying, singing, playing and absorbing music!  I desire to please my Heavenly Father by using the talent He fostered in me at a young age to inspire a love for worship in others.
I have played the piano for 31years now, and can say easily that I teach better than I play, but that's because teaching is my passion.  Teaching privately motivates me to sit down to practice often and to refine my own skills through repetition and discipline.  My students truly do keep me sharp!  I am thankful for the many opportunities I have to share Christ with others through my life as a private piano instructor and I consider myself blessed beyond measure to learn alongside so many terrific students and their families!
